The general targets of the project,
Developing effective measurements for the active labor market and contributing the enhancement of implementation capacity while promoting participation of young people to the labor market who has the most problematic segment in terms of employability and the initial entrance to the labor market especially in these days of economic crises.
The particular targets of the project,
-Creating a synergy within the activities of actors supplying and demanding labor in order to support employment and entrepreneurship of young people.
- Decreasing the unemployment of young people in the region and making them participating to labor force by providing vocational education and vocational mentorship services for office management to unemployed people living in Giresun and Ordu with a number of 100.
- Contributing to elimination of inconsistencies between the demand and supply of education and labor markets,
- Meeting the qualified office staff requirements of the local employers,
- Contributing to elimination of sex discrimination in employment and prevention of income distribution inequality of the region through composing the trainees from young unemployed women and young unemployed people with low economic levels who are the disadvantaged group.
- Achieving an increase of the quantity of EC projects in the region by the multiplier effect of the project.
Within this context, this project corresponds to the general aim of “Supporting the Employment o Young People” operation which is “attracting more people to employment by decreasing the unemployment rates especially among the young population and keeping them in employment” through its general and particular targets.
The target group of the project
The target group of the projects shall be consisting of the unemployed young people who are high-school or university graduates in the age interval of 15-29 and currently studying in high schools, vocational high-schools, or universities. The number of young people benefiting from the training and mentorship services is planned to be 100. Especially women (student or graduate), young people with low socio-economic level, and young high school and university graduates with a low motivation caused by being unemployed because of crisis in spite of searching for a qualified job within the labor force market shall be prioritized.
